Professional Background
I hold a degree in International Trade, specializing in Imports, Exports, Logistics, and Supply Chain from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogotá, Colombia, and Rutgers University in New Jersey.
My journey into the coffee industry was inspired by my roots—my parents come from coffee-growing regions in Colombia. Motivated to support our communities, I began focusing on exports and logistics from the Huila region, known for its exceptional Specialty coffee.
Trained as a Green Coffee Negotiator, Cupper, Roaster, and Barista, I established my own operation in Central Florida in 2016, where I’ve lived for the past 20 years. Over the years, I’ve traveled extensively to expand into international markets, always applying Direct & Fair Trade principles.
Since 2003, I’ve worked with leading organizations in the Imports, Exports, and Logistics sectors in the US. I’ve also had the privilege of participating in major Specialty Coffee Expos worldwide, serving as a panelist at events in Puer, China, Re’Co in Budapest, Hungary, and conducting cupping sessions in Denmark, Finland, USA, Colombia, Dubai, and China, where many of our key customers are based.
Representing Colombia—one of the world’s leading producers of premium coffee—has filled me with pride. I am dedicated to supporting our farmers, pickers, and their families, working tirelessly to bring the finest coffee to the global market.
